This standalone speed ring connector is an adapter used for mounting a variety of softboxes on the Junior Fresnel 650W.
The connector has a full metal construction and is provided with 8 perimeter holes for mounting both rectangular or octagonal shaped softboxes.
Having an universal design, this connector ensures a quick setup and dismantle for most of the softbox models on the market.
Compatible with Cinelight Junior Fresnel 650W, ARRI Junior Plus 650, Filmgear Tungsten Fresnel 650W.

Please tell me what metal is this connector's body made of. It is steel or some aluminum alloy. I had some problems with some connectors and therefore I try to avoid some of them. Thank you!
Answer
The connector is made of two parts: steel (the black flange) and aluminum (main connector body). It is designed to withstand the usual high temperatures coming from a continuous tungsten lamp.
