The CineFlo lighting fixture is one of the most common fluorescent light used on big productions studios, in still photography and movie pictures. This flicker-free soft light source is the perfect choice for "infinity" white cycloramas and chromakey (blue/green screen) lighting. With its narrow profile and size, the CineFlo could deliver the quality of bounced light sources without compromising any space on the set. All the components and accessories are fully compatible with the Kino Flo brand.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the tubes, wiring harness, and reflector can be quickly stripped out of the housing and employed in any number of configurations as needed. The whole lamphead is lightweight enough to be taped to a wall. The housing is made from polypropylene and has reinforced ends, to withstand intensive everyday use on busy sets.
To control the light emitted by the CineFlo, the built-in barndoors can be used to narrow the beam angle and the detachable louver to reduce the intensity. Also, the barndoors, when closed, protect the lamps during shipping and handling.
To adapt to different shooting conditions, both tungsten (5600K) and daylight (3200K) fluorescent lamps can be used. Each lamp can be individually switched on and off to obtain the desired output from the fixture. The detachable lamp harness has 4 different individual cables, shorten to the length and color labeled to easily match each lamp separately, without any hassle or confusion generated along the process.
The ballast is manufactured from high quality components, matching the increased performance and durability of higher cost competitors. The ballast is designed to operate the lamps at 24'000 Hz, 400 times faster than traditional ballasts, ensuring a flicker-free operation at any shutter speed. Includes an easy to change power fuse to protect the ballast against electrical shocks.
The ballast has 4 separate switches to control each lamp individually and adjust the light output accordingly.
Our CineFlo 4Bank select ballast features an additional high-output/standard-output toggle switch. By using the high-output setting for 4FT (75W) lamps and the standard setting for 2FT (40W) lamps, the same ballast can work for both CineFlo 4FT and 2FT fixtures.
The omni-mount (MTP-K41) twist-lock plate and is an universal mount designed for single, double and 4 bank fixtures and up to 4ft size. The MTP-K41 features four capture points and a lock pin to secure it on the back of the CineFlo and mounts it on a 3/8" receiver. This mounting plate is designed to work with a grip head allowing placing the fixture in virtually any position. An optional baby-receiver mount (MTP-B41) is available to mount the CineFlo directly on top of a light stand.

The Century Stand or simply known as C-Stand is the most common type of gripping equipment in the filmmaking industry used for mounting lighting fixtures and lighting modifiers or accessories.
The C-stand 3.30 m has a sturdy steel construction and consists of an unique base and a removable central column.
The detachable "turtle" base can be easily removed for transport. The innovative design on the Century Stand base allows for the legs to be individual set at any angle to be positioned in locations not possible with classic stands.
The legs are staggered in height, allowing them to fit in, around, and under furniture, props, and other lighting stands.
The C-stand base can be used separately as a very low stand for back lights featuring 1-18" mounting receiver. The small footprint of the base allows for positioning the stand in tight spaces and the compact, foldable design of the legs saves storage space during transport.
These heavy duty light stands are very stable and able to support more weight than any other light stand. Can be used together with a gobo arm to boom small lights and accessories like scrims, flags, reflectors.

The grip head, also known as a gobo head, is one of the common accessories on a gaffer kit, used to grip various modifiers like scrims, flags, cutters, reflectors and many others onto boom arms or stands fitted with a 16mm (5/8”) spigot pin.
Made entirely from die cast aluminum, this grip-head (gobo head) is constructed around a solid central bolt and consists of a pair of rotating aluminum discs with toothed friction surfaces attached to a 5/8” receiver.
The discs include 4 different sized V-shaped jaws (16/12/8/4 mm) to ensure a firm grip of anything that’s mounted between the plates.
A non-slip aluminum friction pad is used to maintain a secure lock and a precise control of the grip.
A push-spring is added between the discs to auto spread the grip jaws upon releasing the grip tightening, making it easier to remove or insert the accessories without having to manually pull the jaws to untie them.
The ergonomic locking T-handle features anti-slip shape and dedicated roller bearings designed for anti-seize and maximum torque when tighten.
The grip head can be used with various c-stands, baby stands or other supporting accessory fitted with a 16mm (5/8”) spigot pin. Accommodates both short and long neck spigots thanks to the two threaded wholes at different positions.

40" Fluorescent lamp, T12 G13 Medium BiPin base
Kino Flo TRUE MATCH® lamps are designed to eliminate the need to add filters for color correction. x, y chromaticity plots for daylight 5500K and Tungsten 3200K light sources. Kodak Wratten filter values, and corresponding color shift are also indicated. Color specification limits best represented by circles rather than MacAdam ellipses for the Cinema lamp products due to the differences between eye and film color sensitivity.
Soft light (film friendly) lamp used in film applications. Tungsten 3200º K and Daylight 5500º K colors available. Matches spectral sensitivity of film. Gel-free light sources (CC and LB = 0).No color shift with ballast current change (dimming).
TRUE MATCH® fluorescent uses full spectrum phosphor blends to match the 3200º K tungsten and 5500º K daylight spectrum. Final match is done using Minolta IIIf meter as a gage for determining filtering needs which become the effective color specification limits.
Kino Flo TRUE MATCH® lamps offers the option of exclusive shatter-resistance "Safety Coated" plastic envelope that helps contain glass fragments if the lamps are broken. This reduces the possibility of glassrelated injuries to irreplaceable talent, damage to expensive sets, contamination of delicate equipment or missed deadlines. Safety Coated process wraps the fluorescent lamps in a full 15 mil thick casing of plastic that helps contain the glass, phosphor and chemicals if the lamp is broken. Unlike many other shatter resistant lamps, "Safe Coated" lamps require no assembly. The technology offers maximum protection with minimum light loss… the lowest loss of initial light of any shielded product.
Compatible with the following fluorescent lights:
- Cinelight CineFlo 4FT 2bank/ 4bank
- Kino Flo 4FT 1bank / 2bank / 4bank
- Filmgear FloBox 4FT 2bank / 4bank
