     The CineCOB 500D is a compact and powerful monolight type fixture that employs a single 500W COB LED module to deliver an impressive ultra bright, daylight balanced output. 

Lightweight and compact design

     Measuring only 33x25x15 cm and weighing only 2.8 kg , the CineCOB is designed with portability in mind and can easily fit in most lighting gear cases. 

     The lightweight aluminum construction combined with the smart thermal circuit design ensures an efficient heat dissipation for a stable, consistent high output over it's service life. 

Powerful True-Tone COB LED

     The new CINECOB series uses the latest True-Tone COB LED engine specially developed for photo-video industry, reaching high scores for color index ratings (CRI 97 / TLCI 98). This enables accurate color rendering on cameras for professional looking results. 

     With just 500W power draw, the CineCOB produces a bright, daylight balanced even field of light with an approx. equivalent output of a 3000W+ tungsten light. The light output can reach up to 119'000 lux at 1m using the optional Focusing Lens. 

     Note: spot & flood measurements from specification table are made using the optional Focusing Lens. Standard photometrics are measured with included reflector hood. 

Universal Bowens mount

     By adopting the common used Bowens type-S mount the CineCOB can be paired with a wide range of light modifiers such like softboxes & domes, beauty dishes, snoots, reflectors, focusing lens available from various international brands. This makes CineCOB monolight one of the most versatile fixture to sculpt the light to suit any application or creative vision.

     With one push of a button and a quarter turn the light modifiers can be quickly swapped out to keep up with today's speedy production schedules. 

External controller

     The controls of the CineCOB 500D are separated from the main head unit and keeping the balance of weight off of the top of a stand while having an easy access to the light adjustable parameters.  Controller is equipped with a digit display for shows useful information like brightness value, battery charge level, DMX channel number and the radio channel for remote operation. The controller features an oversized glove friendly dial-wheel to quickly make adjustments over the brightness, effects selection or changing other parameters. The AC-DC power adapter is built-in the controller therefore and external adapter is no longer required, reducing the number of assembly parts and cables. On the sides there are four V-Mount plates battery powering when AC current is not available. 

     For convenient carrying the controller is quipped with a transport handle. When needing to be off the floor and acting as a lightstand stabilizer counterweight the controller can be hooked on a stand column by the supplied clamps. 

5 Pre-programmed lighting effects

     The bi-color version of the Studio LED Fresnel 500W comes with 7 programmed lighting effects with adjustable parameters, as follows:

1. SOS - light is projected similar to SOS flashlight signals in Morse code (three short flashes, three long flashes, three short flashes)
2. Watch TV - simulates the light emitted by a TV screen
3. Lightning - simulates the lightning phenomenon in a thunderstorm
4. Photo - simulates the light from a camera during a photo session
5. Flash - simulates the light from a camera flash as seen on "paparazzi" style shots 

    These lighting effects presets enhance the user's creativity and production value, being the most accessible way to create impressive dynamic scenes from the touch of a button. 

Industry standard DMX512

     Using the built-in industry standard DMX-512 controlling function, the CineCOB 500D can be integrated into more complex studio installations such as news sets, talk-shows or entertainment productions where a standardized remote controlling method is required. The unit is equipped with two Ethernet RJ-45 DMX ports (in / out – loop) allowing the CineCOB to be connected to a DMX lighting console. 

2.4GHz remote control 

     The incorporated 2.4GHz radio technology enables remote operation of the fixture. The included long-range wireless remote is effective from up to 100m distance and can control one or more CineCOB units simultaneously if set on the same channel. This can save a considerable amount of time and effort when operating multiple CineCOBs on the set. 

Multiple AC-DC powering options

     The CineCOB 500D can be powered directly from an AC 110-240V power socket (controller being internally AC-DC self-ballasted) or from an external DC 36V source or by using 4 x 14.8 V-Mount batteries hooked on the controller built-in V-Lock plates. 

Includes transport case

     For convenient storage and carrying, the CineCOB is bundled with a foam padded case that comprises all the CineCOB components: lamphead, controller, power adapter, reflector hood.
