Heavy duty light stand made from stainless steel to sustain heavier lighting fixtures and other studio equipment.
The chrome-plated squared section legs open into a wide base to offer a stable support.
The stand features an adjustable "rocky-mountain" leg to level the stand on uneven surfaces.
The legs can be quickly retracted by loosening the T-handle on the top collar and pulling them up.
The 16 mm spigot stud is welded inside the steel tube for increased mechanical performance.
Double handles on the spider casting ensure a steady lowering of the central column to the ground. This way the stand's central column can be positioned to rest directly on the ground, taking over most of the load.
The stand is assembled using bolts instead of rivets for an easier maintenance and features captive lock offs thread into rust free steel inserts.
Scratch resistant chromed finish prevents oxidation and gives the stand a more polished look that is easier to blend into the outdoor daytime shootings.
*NB: The maximum payload is rated for the stand columns half-extended.
