The jaws are made of die casting aluminum making it sturdy and lightweight while the threaded shaft with 16mm spigot is made of steel for improved strength.
The jaws are rubber padded to protect the surface and avoid slipping.

Mi aspettavo di meglio
In passato avevo acquistato le vide clamp con, da una estremità della morsa, l'adattatore per hexa spigot e facendo un confronto non c'è storia. Questo modello ha i becchi più sottili e meno grossi. Si muovono molto più dalla loro sede e questo peggiora la manovrabilità in fase di avvitatura ad un oggetto. Quando è completamente stretto ad un oggetto si fa fatica a rimuoverlo per la problematica dei becchi sopra indicato. Un'altra difficoltà è quella di stringerlo a superfici cilindriche come tubi o gambe di tavoli, dovuto alla scarsa qualità del grip di plastica sui becchi. Un altro componente che non mi ha convinto è stato trovare la rondella anti sfregamento di plastica, sulla vise clamp con hexa era fatta in metallo. Infine la manopola scorre sul filetto male inceppandosi ogni tanto.
In generale mi ha dato una sensazione di poca resistenza e difficile manovrabilità se fosse possibile scambiare questo modello con quello con hexa lo farei subito.
