The Parabolic Softbox is a 16-sided light modifier for CineCOB 180W/500W that produces soft, directional output, ideal for portraits and interviews.
Quick and easy product assembly is ensured by the stainless steel mounting frame made from 16 rods that can be simply lifted until they are locked in place. To pack the softbox for the next setup, press the quick-release buttons to unfold the frame. With no need to reattach or remove the rods, the Parabolic Softbox can save considerable time and effort on the set.
The deep, hexadecagon structure of the softbox with silver reflective interior can be used as a large reflector for high contrast and long throw composition. The rounded shape helps to achieve some lighting effects like natural-looking catchlights into subject's eyes.
The removable inner and outer diffusions provide an even, soft, wrap around output, while the included honeycomb grid narrows the light beam and reduces the spill for selective lighting.
The Bowens type-S speedring connector is compatible with various Monolight type fixtures that feature Bowens-S front mount accessory.
For convenient storage and carrying, the softbox comes with dedicated transport bag.

Excellent!
Fast to setup indeed! Uniform light fill inside the tent. Ensure a good diffusion for the light.
The grid is very useful for having a directional soft light source.
Excellent complementary accessory for CineCOB 500 head. Highly recommending this combo.

It doesn't convinced me yet
The parabolic softbox seems a bit fragile. With use I will know if it's work or not
