The Century Stand or simply known as C-Stand is the most common type of gripping equipment in the filmmaking industry used for mounting lighting fixtures and lighting modifiers or accessories.
These heavy duty light stands are stable and very effective to support more weight than any common light stand. The 2 riser central column with 3 sections allows adjusting the height of the C-Stand.
One great feature of this C-Stand 330 cm is the sliding leg, which allows the stand to adapt to uneven terrain such as stairs, off curbs or even to high objects such as desks or counter tops. This feature provides optimum support for the lighting fixtures, reflectors or gobo arms.
The unique staggered design of the legs allows for the C-Stand to be positioned very close to other C-stands on the set.
Can be used together with a gobo arm to boom small lights and accessories like scrims, flags, reflectors.
