Boom Stand Set includes 2-section boom arm with counterweight, 2-riser aluminum stand with pivoting clamp and stand wheels. All the components can be used individually or assembled together.
A boom arm is ideal for lighting a subject from above, or to create more freedom of action for the photo or videographer. With a boom arm you can hang your studio lighting above your subject, without it being visible in the picture/video. You also create more freedom by walk under the lighting, for example.
The pivoting clamp is suitable for 30 mm diameter boom arms and features an “L” pull & twist mechanism for increased torque and faster tightening. With the help of the pivoting clamp, the boom arm can be easily adjusted, even when loaded with a lighting fixture.
For greater stability of the boom arm, a red painted iron weight is used as a counter balance. It features a long locking handle that tightens the rubberized grip on the boom arm.
The stand wheels are used to increase the mobility around the studio of the light boom assembly, even when the boom is loaded.
Similar to other brands gobo arms: 085BS Heavy-Duty Boom and Stand.

Hello there! Does the boom arm of this stand (Boom Arm with Stand, Pivot Clamp & Counterweight) work using a junior receiver at the top of the stand? I THINK that is what I see in the photo, but it's not clear.

Hi Roland. The diameter of the top hole from the stand is approx. 25mm and the stud of the pivot clamp that holds the arm is 25.5 mm.
Generally the diameter of a Junior / combo receiver is 28.5-29 mm. Regards, Alex.
